Why Create Social Media Images in Batches?
Bulk image creation is a massive time-saver, especially if you’re managing multiple social media channels or posting frequently. By creating images in batches, you keep your brand style consistent and can plan content ahead, freeing up more time for engaging with your audience.
Plus, it’s a quick way to adapt templates for various messages, like quotes, product highlights, or seasonal greetings.
This approach means you’ll always have fresh, visually appealing content ready without the rush of creating new designs every time.
Quickly Batch Create Social Media Image Quotes
You do need Canva Pro for this process. You can try the free 30 day trial and do lots of social posts to last you several months if you do not have a pro account.
Create social image quotes in 6 simple steps
1: Set Up Your Template
First, pick a simple quote template in Canva and customise it with your brand colours. Canva offers a variety of templates that you can easily tweak to match your business style.
2: Gather Your Quotes
Next, create a spreadsheet with your quotes. It doesn’t matter which spreadsheet you use as long as you can list in rows and columns! Include the text of each quote in one column and the author’s name in another.
You can add as many quotes as you like. To keep things quick and easy in the video I created 10 social media image quotes.
3: Bulk Create Image Quotes with Canva
Head back to Canva and use the “Bulk Create” feature. You can either upload your spreadsheet as a CSV file or copy and paste the data directly into Canva.
Once your data is uploaded, it’s time to connect the relevant text fields in your template to your data – linking the quote text and author name accordingly.
4: Generate Your Social Media Quote Images
Once you’ve linked everything, Canva will generate your designs. From here, you can quickly go through each quote image to make small adjustments, like resizing the text to fit perfectly or tweaking the design for readability.
5: Customise for Variety
To add some variety to your posts, shuffle the brand colours for each quote while keeping within your colour scheme. This gives your social media feeds a fresh look without losing your brand identity.
6: Download and Share
After making your final touches, download your quote images and start scheduling them across your social media platforms. You’ll have created a batch of engaging, branded content in under five minutes!
